Possible Impacts From Beryl For Southeast Louisiana By Early Tuesday

Southeastern Louisiana will feel indirect impacts as Beryl moves onshore in Texas this morning.

Higher tides and breezy conditions are in the forecast, but rainfall will be limited, so a heat advisory will remain in effect until the early evening.

Late tonight, Beryl is forecast to start moving northeast, bringing a rain band through south Louisiana and southwest Mississippi early Tuesday.

Rain bands of this nature often produce heavy downpours and may spin off tornadoes.
