Cardi B has issued a formal apology to Latto after she referenced her in an explicit rant about Ice Spice.
On Tuesday, September 30, audio clips of Cardi screaming at Ice Spice's team surfaced on social media. In the 2:30-minute clip, the mother of four yells at the top of her lungs over Ice Spice's alleged diss track aimed at her. She threatened to beat up Ice Spice and order her people to beat up her producer RIOTUSA and the rest of their team. However, in the midst of her rant, she also fired some stray shots at Latto when she said, "You think I'm p*ssy-ass Latto?!"
"I was ranting and hot at the moment but I fck with Latto HEAVY!!" Cardi wrote. "I respect everything about her including her team thats so sweet.. AND NOPE! I’m not too prideful to apologize to somebody I really respect so this my public apology and now ima privately buy her a bag."
Earlier today, Ice Spice shared a snippet of her upcoming song "Pretty Privilege." In it, she spits, "She might talk shit on the gram/But she won't talk it to my face. In a separate post, Cardi also addressed Ice Spice's manager, James Rosemond Jr., and accused him of leaking the audio. She even dared him to release the entire 11-minute conversation they had so that fans could have a full scope of what happened.
"But wait James… cuz I just know you didn’t only record the beginning of that conversation," she continued. "Go ahead baby post the whole 11 minute convo when Ice Spice said she was in her feelings all because I said Sexyy deserved a BET Award and she had just won some iHeart award I wasn’t even thinking about.. POST IT ALL!!! You came to bang right???
Cardi B previously dissed Ice Spice on her song "Magnet" from her new album Am I The Drama? On the track, she raps, "Slow-face b***h, whose spot is you takin'?/My spot's forever, ho, I'm like a Dalmatian." The line was a response to Ice Spice's alleged jab at Cardi in her song "BB Belt," in which she raps, "Fallin' behind like, b***h, pick up your pace/It was funny ‘til I took her place."
