Snoop Dogg ensured his daughter, Cori Broadus, had her dream wedding no matter the cost.
Tha Doggfather revealed the most expensive gift he gave his youngest offspring during their appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday, December 2. Snoop admitted he gifted Cori with $1 million when she got married to her fiancé Wayne Duece.
“The only thing about this gift is she never got to open it or she hasn’t opened it yet. It was $1 million for her wedding,” Snoop admitted. “But Jen, I told her if it was me, my wedding would’ve been for $100,000, and $900,000 would’ve went in my pocket.”
Cori Broadus and Wayne Duece got engaged in November 2022. The couple began documenting the highs and lows of planning their wedding for the E! special "Snoop's Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne's Story." Unfortunately, the wedding ceremony was delayed after Broadus suffered from a stroke at the beginning of the year. However, fans will be able to see how their story turns out when the series airs this Thursday, December 5.
Elsewhere in the interview, Snoop Dogg also opened up about his upcoming album Missionary with Dr. Dre. The 15-track album is led by the duo's first single "Gorgeous" featuring Jhené Aiko and their recent hit "Another Part of Me" featuring Sting and Russ. Snoop and Dre's first album together in 30 years also includes other collaborations with Eminem, 50 Cent, Method Man, Jelly Roll, Tom Petty and BJ The Chicago Kid. Missionary drops December 13.
