Ladies and gentlemen, the much-anticipated film True To The Game starring Columbus Short, Vivica A. Fox, Draya Michele and more is almost here.
The movie is set to hit theaters on Friday (Sept. 8) and it definitely looks like a must-see. It's directed by Preston Whitmore II, written by Nia Hill and executive produced by Manny Halley. An adaptation of Teri Woods' best-selling novel of the same name, it tells an action-packed story about sex, love and drugs.
According to a press release, the True To The Game novel sold over 2 million copies worldwide. So, that should tell you that this film is about to be one of the biggest movies released this year -- mark our words. In the project, Short portrays drug dealer Quadir Richards, while Eriza Peebles plays his love interest Gena Hollins. Some other cast members are:
