Rapper Master P says mixed-gender pro basketball league equals 'equality'

New Orleans-born rapper and businessman Percy "Master P" Miller has become the president of the emerging Global Mixed Gender Basketball league. In a telephone conversation Wednesday (Aug. 16) he said the need for another professional basketball association boils down to the word "equality."

"There are some great female basketball players on a professional level that are just as good as men," Miller said. "But we never see that."

Miller said it will "change the game when you see that they really have some women who can compete with men. That's what we're going to get out of this league." continue reading...
