Pastor Troy Says Taking Pics With LGBTQ Members Proves He's Not Homophobic

So apparently, taking pictures with the LGBTQ community is absolute prove that someone's not homophobic. At least that's what Pastor Troy says.

Following an interview on The Morning Hustle, Troy continued to stick by his personal beliefs about gay men while publicly condemning homosexuality within his household. However, the artist unapologetically explained that he has no hatred towards the lifestyle and it should be obvious because he has no problem taking pictures with any of his versatile fans.

"I'm not homophobic at all... 20 years I've been in this rap game. I've done took more pictures with gays, transvestites, all of that, man, because it's not my concern. What you are, what you do. You like the music? Take a picture, that's fine.

HeHe also went on to reference his friendship with The Ricky Smiley Morning Showhost, host, Gary with the Tea, just to put our minds at ease. However, regardless of him "not caring" about other peoples' choices in life, he refuses to ever allow his son to think being gay is okay. Especially since he's being raised by such a rough and rugged man like the Pastor.

"Everybody want their son to grow up to be a strong, heterosexual man."
"...Just 'cause I took a picture with this gay person, don't mean I gotta go home and tell my son, 'Hey, man. It's alright to be gay. I just took this picture with this gay person. It's cool now.' It ain't."

All of this follows a homophobic rant he made about Lil Nas X's choice of wardrobe at the 2020 Grammys.

Though he's caught a lot of heat for this statement, Pastor Troy is standing firm as he defended himself while others scold him for basically claiming gay mean aren't "real men."

"I made heterosexual comments, and they turned into a 'homophobic rant.' I just said what I had to say. I didn't know I couldn't do that. I still got a First Amendment right, too, right?"
