NOLA Announces Beyonce's Tour with Second Line on Canal St.
It is carnival season, preceding the Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans, LA. But it's safe to say the Big Easy takes their Beyonce love a bit more seriously than other cities.
In the song "Formation" Beyonce cleverly raps, "Mommy Louisiana," so of course the Houston bred singer has some roots in the Crescent City, her sister Solange even lives in the Mardi Gras and Essence Fest destination city.
But NOLA took it to another level by announcing the ending date of Beyonce's Renaissance Tour, which will be at the Caesar's Superdome in New Orleans, with a traditional second line!
The procession took place on the infamous Canal Street in front of Harrah's Casino, a quintessential spot in the city, right outside of the Canal Place Shopping Center, with streets feeding in and out of Bourbon St.
Beyonce announced tickets for the Renaissance World Tour will go on sale Monday, February 6th and fans will have to sign up for a "Fan Verified'" account, to battle the rising use of bots and scalpers.
