Lauren London Reacts to Kendrick Lamar's Depiction of Nipsey Hussle in 'The Heart Part 5'
We are in the week of the newest release of Kendrick Lamar's next studio album - and Lauren London, the partner of Nipsey Hussle at the time of his death, has made a co-sign to K. Dot's perspective of Nip in the new video.
It is pretty obvious that it would take an artist like Kendrick, with the skill and relationship with Nipsey, to be successful in the way he depicted this particular verse. The Los Angeles born rapper gives a verse from the perspective of Nipsey, where he is speaking to the alleged murderer, Eric Holder, and ultimately forgives him for his irreversible actions.
The account for The Marathon Clothing Company, which is the clothing store that Nipsey shares with his brother, also reposted the video, sharing a co-sign for Lamar's art.
Kendrick's next album, Mr Morale and The Big Steppers drops Friday May 13, 2022.
As we get closer, we anticipate getting more exclusives leading up to release day.
