Jail Staffs Offering Inmates Ramen Noodles for Vaccines

Jail Staffs Offering Inmates Ramen Noodles for Vaccines

We've seen some states offer incentives for getting the COVID Vaccine, such as states like Michigan and Louisiana that did an entire "vaccine lottery," offering money to residents who were fully vaccinated. Or even in some cases, like in Jacksonville, Florida - where football fans were offered free tickets to Jaguars games in exchange for getting vaccinated. But what about those incarcerated?

Seems pretty simple, they're stuck in one place all day - so get it, or choose not to. One prison in Washington State is actually trying to give away packs of ramen noodles in exchange for inmates to get the vaccine.

According to Q13 Fox News in Washington State, Benton County Jail has been giving away one of the hottest commissary commodities to offenders. So far - they have given out 900 packets during this incentive wave.

As of Monday August 23, 2021 - the FDA has fully approved the Pfizer vaccine for residents.
