August Alsina Responds After Jada Pinkett Smith Denies Alleged Affair

August Alsina is standing by his “truth” when it comes to his relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith.

Earlier this week, Alsina disclosed intimate details about his alleged affair with the Girls Trip actress in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee, even going as far as to claim it was her husband, Will Smith, who supposedly greenlit their sexual rendezvous.

Jada has since denied these claims, with her team denouncing Alsina’s account as “absolutely not true!!” to Page Six. What’s more, she seemingly alluded to addressing the situation on an upcoming episode of her show, Red Table Talk, when she broke her silence on the matter this Thursday (July 13). “There's some healing that needs to happen…so I'm bringing myself to The Red Table,” Jada tweeted.

Despite the media storm his confession caused, Alsina doubled down on his truth in a lengthy Instagram post shared Friday (July 3). "I get it; not only do i get it but I'm also sorry you feel that way, BUT, The only attack here is against the invisible walls of silent societal construct and 'code' we place upon each other & upon ourselves hidden behind the desires of others approval & acceptance,” the “Nunya” crooner wrote.

“Truth & Transparency makes us uncomfortable, yes, but i can’t apologize for that,” the “Nunya” crooner added. “A tower of truth can never fall, only a tower of lies can do that. My truth is MY truth, & its mine to own. There is no right or wrong here, it simply just IS.”

In so many words, Alsina stands firm on what he revealed in the interview, and concluded that “no one was side swiped by any conversation, everyone got courtesy calls time in advance.”
