Alfre Woodard, Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Bell, and Sharon Stone announced the nominees early Monday morning at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. They were joined by the new Golden Globe ambassador, 16-year-old Simone Garcia Johnson, the daughter of Dwayne Johnson. The title, formerly known as Miss Golden Globe, was previously held by Sylvester Stallone’s three daughters, Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.

More than 20 TV and film nominations were announced and the most nominated motion picture was The Shape of Water, which earned an impressive seven nods. Steven Spielberg’s The Post was nominated six times in a variety of categories, and as for the television side, the critically acclaimed “Big Little Lies” also scored six nominations.

Seth Meyers is set to host the 2018 Golden Globes, marking his first time hosting an awards show since the 2014 Emmys. The late night host is replacing Jimmy Fallon, who presented the ceremony in 2017.
