UPDATE: Meek Mill Bail Hearing Cancelled Due To 'Administrative Error'

UPDATE:

Pitchfork has confirmed that Meek Mill is actually not getting a new bail hearing, as reported by Philly.com. "Court records now show that the hearing has been canceled. Gabe Roberts, a court spokesperson, has told Pitchfork that the bail hearing was not meant to be scheduled: 'This was an administrative error,'" Roberts revealed. See the original article below.

Meek Mill will get another day in court. According to Philly.com, a new bail hearing date has been set for the rapper.

The online publication states: "Eleven days after Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley sent the 30-year-old hip-hop star to prison for two to four years for violating his probation in a 2008 drug and gun case, the judge has set Nov. 27 for a hearing on a motion by his legal team to allow him to be freed on bail pending appeal." Meek's attorneys filed a bail motion, earlier this week, for him to be released on bail pending appeal.

Since Meek was sentenced behind bars, several protests -- both on social media and in the streets -- have taken place. Many of the MC's fans, as well as his fellow recording artists have voiced their disapproval of his abrupt and unjust sentencing.

Another major update about Meek is his current dwelling environment. He's been taken out of maximum-security prison at Camp Hill, where he was in solitary confinement and placed in a lower security state prison in Chester.

Nov. 27 can't come soon enough.
