Rick Ross is doing damage control after a questionable reference to slain Florida teenager Trayvon Martin.

On his Mastermind song "Blk & Wht," Ross drops the verse "Trayvon Martin, I'm never missing my target."  The rapper tells "Vibe" the verse is meant to remind people that "if you're a black person or a person of any color" in America, "you have to be accurate" and "on point."

In an apparent reference to the trial of Martin's killer, George Zimmerman, he says "black men are being killed and their killers [are] beating the trial."  Furthermore, Ross promises not to "let the world forget" Trayvon Martin's name.

This isn't the first time questions have come up about Ross' lyrics.  Last year, he was criticized for lyrics on Rocko's "U.O.E.N.O" that seemed to condone date rape.  The lyrics even caused Ross to lose an endorsement deal with Reebok.
